As a visitor exits off of the highway the Gateway will welcome them into the city of San Luis Obispo, CA. The three layered structure hovers over the on and off ramp of the 101 highway into downtown San Luis Obispo. The Gateway becomes the icon of the city as it reflects its costal properties.
